Facebook was working on a way to expand its famous Like button. Now Facebook Like button is not alone anymore, Facebook launches new emojis reactions. Now Like button is more than like button. Facebook launches Like button with five new emojis. Now facebook users can express more than just a like on post. But “Dislike” button is absent from the emojis list, as CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said the company didn’t just want to add what would amount to a “down-vote” option. The social giant’s global roll out of the new “Reactions” buttons Wednesday comes after it tested the feature in Ireland and Spain last fall.

New emoji reactions:

“We heard from people that they wanted more ways to express themselves on Facebook”, said Facebook product manager Sammi Krug. When people come to Facebook, they share all kinds of different things, things that make them sad, things that make them happy, thought-provoking, and angry. We kept hearing from people that they didn’t have a way to express empathy. That’s why we are launching Reactions, an extension of the Like button, to give you more ways to share your reaction to a post in a quick and easy way.

To add a reaction, hold down the Like button on mobile or hover over the Like button on desktop to see the reaction image options, then tap either Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad or Angry.

These Five emojis are:  “love”, “haha”, “sad”, “wow” and “angry”

• Love– Facebook users can use this button to express their love to the post that they loved it.
• Haha– This emoji is for the post that users find funny and they want to express that they are laughing.
• Sad– when Facebook users find something sad or some sad thing than this emoji is to express their sadness.
• Wow– when users find something surprise or shocking than this wow emoji is to express that reaction.
• Angry– this emoji is to show anger. Users can show their anger by this emoji.
